Anticipating the large number of visitors to Nagoya for various events such as the Asian Games and Asian Para Games, this Site was launched to provide information on barrier-free facilities in the city, so that anyone can go out without worry.
The City of Nagoya is promoting "Barrier-Free Awareness". Eligibility includes not only facilities that are barrier-free in terms of equipment, but also those that are barrier-free in terms of attitude. We encourage you to apply for this designation.
We are currently taking applications for lodgings (the number of eligible facilities will be expanded gradually to include tourist facilities and restaurants).
Facilities in Nagoya City are eligible. However, the following facilities must not apply.
Applications are accepted by mail, fax, or e-mail (for office contact information, see "Where to Apply").
If you are able to submit photo data, such as exterior photos, please send them via e-mail. Please refrain from submitting photos that may be used to identify individuals.
Please download the form from the City's official website.
About two staff members from the executive office, including those with disabilities, will visit the site to confirm the contents of the application documents. If there is no problem, we will also take photos for posting on our Site.
The applicant will be asked to confirm the images of the facility, which will also reflect the contents of the field survey.
After steps 1-3 above are completed, the images will be posted. The posting will be made at the next update of this Site (several times a month).
